It is not possible to change the selection boundaries:

This problem is present both in full-screen and in normal mode.

what do you have in Settings>Interface>Mouse?

in your video, you change the selection with right button, right?

I'm sorry! I realized my mistake. I tried to move and change the selection using the
left button...
