XnView Software

Hi,
I've recently discovered this wonderful software and this has become my go to image viewer. Thanks for distributing it for free.

While using XnViewMP I have found that whenever I make some changes to any file for previewing purpose and then decide not to save the file, the program still asks me with a confirmation dialog about keeping changes or discarding it. I went through all the options but couldn't find anything to turn that option off. Is there anyway to accomplish it?

Version: 1.0
OS: Ubuntu 22.04
Desktop: KDE Plasma 5.24.4

You'll find a setting for save confirmation in "Tools > Settings | View | Misc". For ""Save changes to file" you can choose "Ask", "Always", or "Never". In your case "Never" is the right choice, I think.

If that is the requested option I think the wording is not clear, like great.potato I searched Settings and missed it...

Something like 'Warn before closing file with unsaved changes' better expresses the desired alert, but is maybe too long?

Too many settings in XnView. Actually, a "Settings search" would be cool.
