Hi,

i am having a comprehension problem here, i am using affinity photo to export a image from 32 bit to 8bit jpeg.
the resulting image looks in the windows Fotos app identical to what was created in affinity photo, if i view that image in xnview mp latest version, it does not look identical to the created image.

where could that problem lay?

could you post a screenshot? Do you use a color profile on your screen?

what you see here is my process of how i create the image and the icc profile i assign to it. i render the image out in 32bit openexr in a aces colors space and bake this down to 8bit jpeg, this jpeg never comes out right, also not the windows viewer gets it right compared to what i see in the creating application, however, the windows viewer is just 5-7% off in brightness, while xnviewer is significantly off on the same image.

then from left to right, you can see the result in xnviewer and in the stock windows foto viewer.

yes i am using a color corrected monitor.

Do you use ICC in XnView? could you send me this file?
