1.00: broken thumbnail for video when loading from cache

The thumbnail of video are all broken when loading from cache/catalog:
I can fix it by manually rebuilding:
but then if I exit XnViewMP and restart, it would be broken again if reading from the cache.
My catalog setting:
This bug does NOT happen if I enable this setting (but I don't want to):
