Resize option

Hi All
I've just stumbled upon Xnview MP and have been using it this past day or two, and so far I've found it's just what I was after, coming from Windows to Mac.
I've just had a pic that I wanted to resize, but couldn't, so am I correct that it's
only in the Windows version, and that I have to use Xnresize as a seperate app/option and it's not integrated into Xnview MP? (if so, why is this the case...Apple restrictions again or something?

) Many thanks.
Regards....

I'm a Windows and Linux user, so not a Mac user myself. It would be useful if you could confirm which Mac version you are on, and which XnView MP version you have installed, presumably the latest v1.0?
Why are you unable to resize your image, in the editor is Image > Resize... greyed out or missing?
I'm asking to provide Pierre or anyone else who might be able to help with some basic information, to hopefully save time.

Hi cday, and thanks a lot for the quick reply.
I've just got a 2021 Macbook M1 Pro and yes, the latest XnView MP 1.0.
There is only File,Edit,View,Tools, Create & Help in the menu bar for me (I was looking for an 'Image' entry), but I've just been in the Tools>Batch Convert option, and noticed the 'Action' tab. In there is an Add Action button (all empty below) but clicking it revels a load of options. I've found it in there.
Bit long-winded, but at least it avoids having to open a second app just to do it. Panic over!
Thanks once again....

You are looking at the file browser not the editor window!
Click on any image displayed in the browser, or use File > Open... assuming you have that, to open an image in the editor/viewer.
As XnView MP is very configurable, resulting now in a large number of options in
Tools > Settings... in the browser or editor, it is worth spending some time reviewing the main options so that you can use the program in the way that is best for you. One options is to open the program in the editor rather than the viewer.
