We have the Compare window (Tools | Compare).

We use this tool to... well... compare images and choose one.

When we choose one, we can Copy/Move/Delete or Open in the Associated Program etc.

Please add a button to Open in XnView''s editor.

Ping... just a button, folks. Just a button.... [Open in Editor] in Compare Window...

In the toolbar above each image there's an "Open" toolbar button. You can open with System viewer (F3) or System editor (F4). In addition you can configure an arbitrary program. There, you can specify "xnviewmp.exe" and from then on open your image in XnView.

Note: Shortcuts F3, F4, and Alt+1 don't work

But I guess you knew this before and this is not what you wanted, m.Th., right?
