When saving an image and using the pop-up window that prompts for the format options (quality, compresison, etc), clicking "Cancel" should cancel the save operation. However, if you click "Cancel" it still saves the image file!

Only clicking "Okay" for the format options should save the image. However, even if you click "Cancel" it still saves the image.

Even clicking the "X" close button in the top-right corner will also save the image.

Thanks to your detailed description I can reproduce the problem.

I will test this with the next release of XnViewMP for Linux.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.01. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

I've installed version 1.01, but this problem still persists. It behaves exactly the same as with 1.00 when I click "Cancel".
