Freeze during "Synchronize Folder"

I just started a "Synchronize Folder" operation for the catalog. It now got stuck showing this:

Sorry, I edited my original post right away, but seemingly I did not save it correctly. The synchronization stalled for several minutes (high CPU load, no SSD or network transfer) and then went on and finished.
I don't think that it stalls for the file listed by the popup, but suspect that it just does not update the popup due to the CPU overload. I just started another run and this time it stalls with another file (file-list may have changed since last run).
After a few minutes it finished and did not scan any further. So I started another run. This time the UI froze without showing any file names (no changes):
Consecutive runs look the same, so the file shown in the popup may just be the last changed one that is listed before Xn does its internal things. My suggestion is to display some sort of information while that last CPU intensive part happens.
