OS: Windows 64bit (21H1), display resolution 3840x2160, win scaling 150%

Curves dialog.
Few issues with mouse hover over curve area.

To reproduce:
1. run clean portable XnViewMP
2. open curves dialog: Image menu -> Adjast -> Curves...
<Default> preset is selected by default

Issue A
3. hover mouse cursor over chart area
Preset name turns blank
Issue B
3. tick "Apply to image" checkbox
4. modify curve and save as Custom preset
5. select <Default> preset
6. select Custom preset
Custom preset is selected, but its settings have not applied neither to chart area, nor to image
7. hover mouse cursor over chart area
only now its settings applied
Actual behaviour:
check video

Expected behaviour:
a) Preset name shall not disappear when cursor hovers over chart area.
b) Custom preset shall to apply its settings to chart area and image (if checkbox selected) immediately on selection.

Agree, but my issues are slightly different.
I have updated/rephrased initial post and split video file.

Thanks to your detailed description I can reproduce the problem.

v 1.4.0b1:
issue A - still remain
issue B - fixed

right will be fixed in beta 2
