XnView: MP 1.3.0 64bits (Sep 6 2022)
OS: Windows 64bit (21H1), display resolution 3840x2160, win scaling 150%

Viewer with empty tab has some image related menu options still enabled.
Clicking on them cause no effect or crash.

To reproduce:
1. run clean portable XnViewMP
2. press F12 to open Settings
3. goto Interface -> Tabs
4. untick 'Closing last tab exits XnView' checkbox and save settings
5. close all opened tabs in program
there shall remain Viewer with 1 empty tab 6. check Edit, View, Image menus

Actual behaviour:
Some menu options remain enabled for empty tab, clicking on them:
- blue - does nothing
- red - cause crash

Expected behaviour:
Image related menu options shall be disabled if image tab is empty.

Thanks to your detailed description I can reproduce the problem.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.3.1. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

Please also check these options of File menu, guess they shall be disabled on <Empty> tab as well:
