XnView: MP 1.3.1 - 64-bit
OS: Windows 11 Pro 22H2 - 64-bit

Disabling format colors doesn't work in view "Thumbnails + Filenames" in the Browser.

Effect: Format color is shown in view "Thumbnails + Filenames", although setting "Use color based on file format" is disabled.

To reproduce:
  • Disable setting "Use color based on file format" (Settings / Browser / File list / Format colors).
  • Browse a folder with JPG image files.
  • Switch view to "Thumbnails + Filenames".
Actual behaviour (bug): Filename has a yellow background. All other views don't have a background color on details. :bug:

Expected behaviour: Like on all other views, there should be no background on filename.
