XnView: MP 1.3.1 64bits
OS: Windows 64bit (21H1), display resolution 3840x2160, win scaling 150%

Suggestion
Settings - General - 'Mode when starting with file' dropbox
Rename and resort items in dropbox for better readability.

fixed in 1.4.0b1

maybe it is also worth to change default
from 'Browser - Fullscreen' to 'Viewer'
