Hi
Your program (XnView MP) keeps corrupting the "crdownload" icon from Chrome and puts your icon instead of the empty icon which is more suitable for instant download!
Please change that!
P.S.
I tried everything but it never happens with another viewer!

sorry but what do you means? icon from chrome is not changed

When it is downloaded using Chrome, let's say on the Desktop (set up on Chrome), then during the download there is a file with a number and the extension crdownload. The icon for that temporary file is empty!
If XnView MP is installed, then the icon is from XnView, which after completion changes to the icon of the downloaded file!
This appeared after one installation of the compressor program from the Microsoft Store!
If the download stops for a moment and tries to "open" that download (which is normally not done), Windows 11 (last build) immediately suggests XnView by default!!
Of course it bothers us because we are all taught that it is a white empty icon and finally the icon from the downloaded file.

I tried Sordium's "Rebuild Shell Icon Cache" v1.3 and turned off the request for the download location in the Chrome settings (the icon didn't change with that), so we'll see!

That's weird

"Weird" is possible because I use Windows 11 Insider Program (beta) where everything is possible!!
I used to use standard XnView but I was offered by I don't know who to install XnViewMP which was better. I don't understand why you ask if I know what registration is! That XnViewMP has always been free for personal use! I don't use it otherwise!

… so I was assuming that you bought a license.

I meant to register in this Newsgroup!
I had to do this because I had a problem with that icon from XnView.
I've cleared the icon cache now, so we'll see.

Conversation would be much shorter have you provided some screenshots of your issue.

For example, on my win10 .crdownload has no icon and not assosiated with any program.

Such monstrous behavior and phenomena cannot even be registered with a screenshot!
