Batch Convert - DPX

I tried DPX batch convert and found an issue.
I set Options of DPX/Cineon inside batch convert " LUT 8-bit linear => 10-bit log".
But I found the results is always 8-bit linear.
I applied this function to four type files - 8bit linear/log and 10bit linear/log.
The XnView version of I tested: 1.80.3 and 1.82 beta2
OS: WinXP Pro
How I checked the converted result: Opened the result files with binary editor and saw their header informations (transfer characteristics nad bit size).
I don't sure my explanation (and language ability...) is enough, so please tell me if you need more details etc.
Regards

Strange, with 'Save As' or Multicnv i have a 10bits file as result...

Hello Pierre,
I tried batch convert and save as again, and checked them....
But the results were same - 8bit linear.
(I used two tools for checking thier bit depth and transfer charactoristics.
Binaly editor and a free DPX viewer named RN_DPX.)
My way to use XnView might be something wrong, so would you show me your steps? I'll try again.

Could you send me your original dpx file, please?

Happy new year, Pierre!!
Did you get my sample DPX?
If you have something problem with it, please let me know.

Strange i've tested with 1.82 beta, and if i have " LUT 8-bit linear => 10-bit log", the result is almost same as original (in size too).

Hi Pierre,
I think the file size and RGB information have little to do it.
The issue that I concern is the DPX header information.
The strange points after LUT 8-bit linear => 10-bit log convert that I think important are;
1. The converted result is always Transfer characteristic is 2 and Bit depth is 8. It means the file is refered to as a 8bit linear file by other applications.
2. XnView add broken keycode, timecode, user bits (and etc.) to the file. It is better for this conversion to minimize data gap.
It is difficult for me to describe the issue what I want to point out...
If it doesn’t make sense to you, I'll try to make better it.

I have a 10bits result, strange..

Currently yes

Would you tell me how do you check the result??
I would like to try to verify our discrepancy.
The difference of the way to approach the result might make the different opinion.
I checked them by viewing file header with the image viewer that specified for DPX (RN_DPX), simple binary editor and some kind of graphics software.

Please send me a mail, and i'll send you my result file. I've checked with my loader
