0 Bytes (100%) on Batch convert

Hello,
I've been a super happy XnView MP user for more than a decade now. Kudos to the team!
I am currently using Version 1.3.1 64bits (Oct 11 2022) Libformat version 7.126 on macOS Monterey 12.5.1.
For the last few months however, I haven't been able to get any file from Batch convert, even though this has been working in the past.
In this example, I am just taking PNG files, rotating them clockwise by 90°, resizing the canvas and exporting them as JPEG. Lately I've also tried to simply resize JPEGs.
However, when I run the batch I keep getting 0 Bytes (100%) result.
I've checked that the correct destination folder is set, but not to avail.
Am I missing something, or is there an option that makes it impossible to save the resulting images?
I checked and XnView has Read/Write access in macOS settings. I do look in the correct destination folder.
