Platform independent Slideshow

Hi everybody,
I've been testing XnView extensively now about meta data and think it is a really great tool.
Thx for this great software.
The next step is to create a platform independent slideshow. That I can share with my friends. I would like to share it on a USB ROM stick, which they can plug in to a notebook that runs on windows, mac, other linux versions and if possible, in an android based smart tv.
When they plug it in, there should be a menu where the user can decide which slideshow (if there are more than one on the stick) should be started. And then with just one click it starts.
Is there a tutorial somewhere on how a possible setup could look like?
Or at least a tutorial for parts of this?
If not, where shall I put this tutorial when I'm finished?
