Rating kills color profile

One of the 2 ways for rating a jpeg seems to be wrong:

starting point = jpeg with color profile (significantly larger than sRVB)

rating with >tools >metadata >edit xmp , then save : is ok (but quite long)

rating with direct clic on the thumbnail in browser-view
then changing viewed picture and coming back (just pointing an other thumnail is not enough)
the color profile is away (and colors are seen wrong - the medium-large gamut is considered as sRVB)

context
XnViewMP v1.4.1
database not used
>settings >browser-metadata: export rating in XMP on ; export color label in xmp on

Regards

this is the file I used for my test

If you can't reproduce it, it may perhaps be a question of saving temporary working data somewhere on the disk, for example because
- database is disabled (>settings >catalog > "enable catalog" off)
- Personnaly, I try to set up my windows to forbid writing in not allowed places

Regards

I have noticed loosing colour profiles after applying a rating or a colour label quite some time ago, with version 1.0 or even earlier, but was not able to find a way to reproduce it every time, so I didn't report the problem. (Switched to digiKam, but missing some of XnView MP's fine features.) I can reproduce this "most of the time" with different settings, on Windows 10 and 11.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.4.3. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

This problem looks to be fixed to me, the colour profiles don't disappear any more. (But I am not the original poster.)
