Quick search not reliable with "view subfolder"

Hello,
I am having problems with the quick search feature.
Settings > Browser > Quick search : IPTC, Embedded, and Description are activated.
Some files will not be displayed when filtered by metadata and "view subfolder" activated if i am "far" from the folder that has the images. By far I mean some levels above in the folder hierarchy.
Didn't managed to find a easy way to replicate so I will send a video of the issue on my computer by PM to you, Pierre.
