Subject: 1.04.2.6: Can no longer browse NFS share

XnView: 1.4.2 64bits (Jan 26 2023)
OS:Linux 64bit

Program freezes when trying to access NFS share and must terminate.

Effect: I can not do anything in the program, and it even prevents me from using my file manager {Dolphin} until I kill xnviewmp. After closing xnviewmp, my file manager responds immediately.

To reproduce:
1. Select NFS folder in folder pane, or dbl-click NFS share folder in Browser pane.

Actual behaviour (bug): Program freezes when trying to access NFS :bug:

Expected behaviour: Able to browse NFS as before

Output of commandline only shows "creating children" when it freezes.

Code: Select all

Create children /mnt/
Create children /mnt/NAS/
Also tried with fresh xnviewmp.ini.

While continuing to troubleshoot I discovered the reason for the failure, but not the reason why yet.

I recently powered down one of my NFS shares as I don't need it any longer, but if I power it back up I can access it fine along with the other NFS share I wasn't able to access.

My guess is it's somehow trying to access the "missing" NFS share, but I'm not sure how it can determine it's missing after I renamed my config folder and xnview generated a new config as a fresh install.
