No preivew for .clip files (macOS)

				Hey there,
it appears that since 1.41 or so previews are no longer shown for .clip (Celsys Clip Studio). Thumbnails are still showing.
With earlier versions I've had no issues with such files.
I am 1.42 now, macOS Ventura 13.1, M1.
Can someone confirm if this is a bug or just some changed setting I'm not aware of?

Just checked, 1.4.0 is the version where previews for .clip artworks still work fine.

They worked fine on macOS until 1.4.0. Would be great if this functionality came back.

It's not a feature of XnView MP on MacOS

Could You be more specific? Did You drop .clip preview for macOS recently? Because it clearly was a feature for both macOS and WIndows – I was using it for two years or so on both platforms in parallel.
It would be sad if You discontinued .clip support for macOS, that was one of the killer features for me - since I am using both Macs and PCs and XNView used to be a common ground for my media files.

.clip is only supported on Windows, the plugin doesn't exist on MacOS

I am looking at the plugin, and what it is doing, right now. Using a macbook Air M1, running the macOS version of XNView MP.
So I am still wondering if support for the .clip plugin on macOS it was dropped in recent versions and if it will come back.

Since the plugin obviously existed a couple of weeks ago on macOS (screenshot above), is there any explanation for it's disappearance in more recent versions? Will it come back? That would be great!

This problem is supposed to be fixed in
XnView MP 1.4.3. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

Hey there, it appears the CLIP plugin was removed again, at least in the macOS version. I can see artwork previews (and a clip.dylib in Plugin) in version 1.6.3, but it is no longer present in the latest release.
Could You please add it to the package again? That would be hugely appreciated!
Best,
Marin
