Settings > Interface > Switching mode
Double: Browser <> Fullscreen | Viewer <> Fullscreen
Middle: Browser <> Fullscreen | Viewer <> Fullscreen
Enter: Browser <> Fullscreen | Viewer <> Fullscreen

So, when I hit [Enter] on an image file in my file manager, XnView MP is launched and the file is displayed in full screen.
Now, with the file is viewed in full screen:
A. With [Esc] I can close the view and return to the file manager, OR:
B. With [Enter] I can go to the MP Browser view

I only use Browser view or full screen. This works.

BUT:

- In the previous session of XnView MP I selected "Filter by" > "Videos" and closed MP
- I press [Enter] on an image file in the file manager
- MP starts but displays in full screen... nothing (black screen in my case)
- Can't go to Browser with [Enter]
- I can only close MP using [Esc]
- I need to reopen MP from menu or hotkey
- Select "Filter by" > "Images/All" then:
A. Select the directory containing the file in the directory tree view in MP, OR:
B. Close MP and hit [Enter] again on the image file in the file manager

Expected: XnView MP bypass preselected "Videos" filter and view image file in full screen

Sorry for this very long description, but I hope I managed to explain.

Specs: Win 10, XnView MP 1.4.2 x64 and very old black mouse pad with Sylvester the Cat and Tweety

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.5.0 beta. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

No, don't fixed.
But I've try with fresh MP, and it works. The problem is 100% in my configuration, but you have my INI file from last time.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.5.1. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

Confirmed (MP 1.5.1 x64, Win 10 x64): this bug is dead.
The filter automatically switch from "Video" to "Custom" and image file is displayed in fullscreen.
