On Quit - Remember my answer and dont ask again does not work

Hello, good people
I am wondering: when I am in browse mode with bunch of thumbnails and quit XNViewMP (CTRL + F4), window shows: "Remember my answer and don't ask again", I check it to "on", quit, but when start it again, on Quit it keeps asking the same question without "remembering" my answer...
I guess it is because my settings are supposed to be saved somewhere where I did not point or XNViewMP can't access / write settings or something similar?

Yes strange, what do you use in 'Settings>Integration - Paths'?

Maybe something is interfering with it. I have also installed old XNView and new XNViewMP:
C:\Program Files\XnView and
C:\Program Files\XnViewMP
Maybe deinstalling XNView (old one) will fix this?
Also, when I start XNViewMP as Administrator and browse photos - it will never ask to quit and remember. It just "remembers" and stays ok.
But when I open for example .JPG image (double-click from Explorer), it will open XNViewMP but then if quit - it will keep asking to remember my choice...

you use 'Program folder' but if XnView is installed on 'C:\Program Files', you have no rights to write files, you need to use 'User'

Thank you, I've tried every possible combination - no luck. It never asks me for quit if I first start XNViewMP, view first. But if I doubleclick on the image first, it will start XNViewMP but on quit - it will keep asking... It is probably as I do not play (nor understand completely) anything with User Accounts in Win10 - what (and why) do I need to open Admin account or user account.
I've noticed that XNViewMP can work by itself if use non-install version, placed anywhere on my PC but can`t save prefs or any edits I did when use installed version... Never mind, I got the point, maybe I will play with user accounts (when find some free time) but at the moment - it works as it works. Sometimes it saves, sometimes it do not save any changes.
Thanks anyway. Soon I will upgrade my PC and reinstall Win & get some lessons about user/admin accounts
