XnView Software

Hi,
i´m new with xnview.
I ike this tool very much, but I need a feature and can´t get it to work.
I want die have a preview (or the picture on bigger size) if I press the Space-button, but I didn´t any option for that.

Is this a missing feature or am I to stupid to config this?

Yes thats what i´m searching for

Maybe :
- View > Info panels > uncheck "Preview as tab"
- Drag the preview panel outside of xnviewmp window and drop it.
- Enlarge this preview

- Settings > Interface > Shortcuts , select "Preview" line
.. Enable "custom" and click in the field , press "space" key ... Ok.

Now "space" can open and close a large preview pane ...

Yes that´s fine thx.
There´s only one problem.
If I press the Space the focus goes to the preview window
So I cannot go back with "space" I have to select the Browser first.
Is there a way to deal with?

The behavior is not the same for me, the space allows to toggle the preview display on /off.
And the browser keeps the focus so that I can use arrows to browse photos

Another problem is that sometimes the preview is blank, or not updated until I select another thumnail with a mouse click.

on macos Ventura the Focus in my case is allways away
I can confirm that sometimes the Preview is blank.
If I use previews-window inside xnViewmp the focus is okay, so I have my solution.
