Hi Pierre,

Let's say I have those hypothetical numbers:

Screen: 1500x1000
Picture: 2000x2000

What I want is to fit the picture into screen with no black borders. So ideally horizontally it presses the picture into the 1500px width and crops parts at top and bottom.

"Fit Image to Width or Height" will fit the image completely into the screen, so black borders are left and right. EXACTLY THE SAME as "Fit image to window".

IMO it should be like this:
"Fit Image to Width OR Height" - No borders, Fill screen, part of a too long side can fall out of screen.
"Fit Image to Width AND Height" - Fit it completely

There is currently no way to "Fill" the screen (as in the Windows Wallpaper options).

I hope I'm not wrong.

Yes, but this does not "fill" screen in case the width is much bigger than height. Example. Picture: 2000x500. "Fit image to windows width" will leave borders on top and bottom.

Currently we have no automatic detection, that's the point.

Absolutely - and please have a look at the Windows terminology in your (french?) Windows 10 - I think they just use very easy to understand words.
