merging pictures

7. last but not least i would like to paste a copied part of a picture to the new cursor position rather than have to draw a rectangle and the copied part is resized when pasted into it.

Good point.
When talking about pasting things: I think it's essential and very important that things pasted (text, image, ...) can be moved after pasting (similar to MS Paint). This will allow for fine-tuning position and result.
