When selecting multi-files, the preview panel does not display anything. I expected it displays the last selected images. This is the first time I noticed this behavior is this latest versions (1.4.3 and 1.4.2 for Mac OS Venture 13.1) so I guess the older versions displayed the previews as I expected, but I don't know which version worked like that. Is this a bug or specification?

Yes, as soon as I selected more than 1 file, the preview immediately changed to empty as in the screen shot.
If you can not reproduce it, I guess it might happen in some specific settings.

I found the cause of the issue. It was because of the setting "View > Info panels > Preview as tab".
At multi-file selecting, the whole Info panels showed nothing. So, if "Preview as tab" is on, then the preview tab disappeared along with the Info panels. But if "Preview as tab" is off (new screen shot attached), the Preview panel is separated from the Info panels, it kept displaying.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.4.4. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
