Hello,
Maybe it's a feature request, not a bug

- When using View>View as > Details, we can enable "Shutter Speed"
The metadata that XnViewMP uses is Exif:ShutterSpeedValue" but most of the cameras fill "Exif:ExposureTime" metadata instead, so we can't read this info.
Windows itself can show "Exif:ExposureTime" for every cameara I tried !

- XnViewMP "search" function does not provide Exif:ExposureTime neither

- I think it would be better to use Exif:ExposureTime ...

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.4.4. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

The right metadata is shown , for all my cameras.

But when we sort photos with this criteria in browser with show as ... > details , this field should be sort on "numeric" order instead of alphabetic order

Thanks to your detailed description I can reproduce the problem.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.4.5. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

In the browser, View > Show as ...> Details is now OK.
We can sort by exposure time , thank you
