XnView Software

Hi,

I'm new here because I have a problem wirh category filter for persons.
I have categorized all my pictures in Windows Live gallery with the persions on each picture.

These information is written in XMP -> MP.
When I browse in XnView folder tab to my folder on my harddisc the category Person keeps empty.

Do you have any suggestion what I'm doing wrong?

Have you enabled
Tools > Settings > Metadata > Import XMP face tags
?

I seem to remember that I had to delete a folder entry in Settings > Catalog and then use "Add folder" button for the same folder in order for XnViewMP to read the XMP face tags ...
I hope the people will then be added in the categories filter ...

And to show face regions , there is a plugin here : https://www.xnview.com/wiki/index.php?t ... _Face_tags
This plugin can detect new faces, but does not recognize people.
