XnView Software

On a remote disk that can be browsed without any problems using File Explorer, XnView MP shows no files at all. Still, when clicked on in File Explorer (With XnView set as the associated viewer) they open correctly and can be viewed one by one.
The system is Win 10, but I am just a user of it, not an admin. Could that be the cause (some permission to be set)?
Turns out also the local files are invisible. Checked all settings I can imagine. So far - no change.

Is it possible to point the IT admin to something specific? As these guys tend to only do the things that can be done quickly...

Sorry I hadn't read well, in view mode you can load image file, right? And in browser, no files are shown?
