How can I add to the custom filter list? I can't find a way of doing that anywhere. There is a list of custom filter settings in the Settings option but no apparent way of editing there.

a custom filter for what?

With my digital camera I take both raw and jpg files.... And I process things (in my brain) slowly enough that sometimes I get "confused". Most often when I'm fiddling with files to send them to family (fiddling = crop/resize) and I'd like to do that to just the jpg.

So it would be nice to see in the browser just the jpg's.

I guess I can do that by entering jpg in the search box. However you lose that when you change folders.

All in all not a really big issue but I just wondered.
