1.4.4 - settings - catalog - hang when sync unmounted drives

XnViewMP 1.4.4 64bit
Windows11 (22H2), display resolution 3840x2160, win scaling 150%
Settings - catalog
hang when sync unmounted drives
To reproduce:
0. unmount volume with previously cataloged folder(s) (J:\.. in my case)
1. run XnViewMP
2. press f12 to open Settings
3. goto Catalog maintenance (Catalog>Catalog tab)
4. press 'Synchronize Folders...' button
issue A
'Check folder..' takes too long to complete (assume it just hangs)
I waited for ~1min (only 2folders,11files to sync) and it was still going on, than I clicked Abort (see below)

5. press Abort button
app will crash
