When in thumbnails view right click image open with menu shows at top


when full screen view Open With menu shows on bottom. Not very intuitive.


This is number one used option for me on right click menu, and always causes time to find where it is between thumbnails and full screen view modes that i switch frequently.

For consistency could you place that option on top of menu for full screen view.

1. you can modify Context menu via Settings (Interface > context menu)
2. you can assign shortcut to Open with apps (there are even predefined shortcuts F3, F4, Alt+1.. available)

the issue with your suggestion - "Open with" is not a single item, there is group of Open.. items that shall stay close to each other
there is room for improvement in the Context menu, but I doubt Open with is part of it

Nice this does exactly what i want. Did not know about this option.

Do you have this bug when rearranging items in context menu by dragging it with mouse and click OK your order is not saved, only saves when using arrow keys

I never suggested to do with the sub menu that shows when you mouse over "Open With" so don't know what you mean.

it wasn't about submenu, I meant the following groups: File operations and Open (in, with, etc).
You may notice how they tend to stay close to each other. Moving "Open with" to the top will required move "Open in file explorer" as well.

Actully.. after closer look your suggestion looks good, I like mockup B.
ps: I would also group prev/next/.. file items
Viewer - context menu - group into 'Navigate to'

I actually never even pay attention for any other items in the menu, since i use keyboard arrows or mouse scroll wheel to navigate as its much faster.

Indeed menu looks so long and confusing shorter menu is much more clear.
