Fileselector does not work [linux deb]

When I want to select which files to add, the selector does not work. Choosing .jpg or .rw2 shows no files.
Linux x64 .deb version 1.98 un*x x64 lib format version 7.40
Windows 10 x64 and linux AppImage work good, same version numbers as the .deb version

No problem for me loading JPEGs in XnConvert 1.98 DEB on Linux Mint Cinnamon 20.2...

I can load them, only the selector to only show .jpg or .rw2 or other files does not work

I only have the .deb and AppImage, I will install the .tgz to try it
Edit : .tgz has the same behaviour as the .deb version

i've just tried on ubuntu 23 and no problem with tgz
