I am getting in a tangle with updating the categories stored in image file.

Settings/Metadata/Export Catalog Categories/Create XMP data are set.

But categories in XMP data do not seem to get reset by deselecting image and the DC and lr properties are out of sync i.e there are more lr values than dc values.

Does that make any sense?

I suspect that this was related to selecting multiple images and changing their categories all at the same time - which is an extremely useful feature but seemed to create problems for me?

Are you able to reproduce?
