JPEG XL exif problem

Hello are you planning on fixing the missing exif metadata upon conversion from other formats to Jpeg xl ? I absolutely love jxl especially how it handles noise retention and thus would make the best compression for photos but no available convertor saves the metadata correctly.

Are you sure that the EXIF data is not saved? I tried cjxl, transcoding a JPG into a JXL. XnView does not show the EXIF data of the JXL. When I convert the JXL back to a JPG, the EXIF data is displayed. So the EXIF data is definitely saved in JPEG XL.
