Is Lanczos3 broken in 1.5.1? it produces blocky presentation.

Also 1.5.1 ends on it own if I open a path with more heic files and scroll and in eventviewer it logs a crash.

What do you means? In 1.5.0 it works? which high zoom quality do you have?
Also 1.5.1 ends on it own if I open a path with more heic files and scroll and in eventviewer it logs a crash.
Its a known issue

It is a screenshot of 3840x2160p. View this picture and set downscaler to Lanczos3 in high quality scaler for downsizing
look at the text, there it is obvious:

Can I disable HEIC in settings somewhere and use HEIC extension from Microsoft?
I have HEIC and HEVC plugin installed which works fine in Windows Explorer.

you view this file at which zoom? do you use high dpi scaling?
Same problem in 1.4.5 or 1.5.0?

I just recognized, that I was just lucky with bilinear, all other than bilinear are affected.

But only downscaling is poor quality - "blocky" - looks like bad upscale.

I use 200% scaling of system. 1.5.2 has same issue.
I need to test old versions to be sure when it was introduced.

I retested with new 1.5.2 x64 windows installer, same as before.

Windows x64 SETUP version SHA256: F866F16B92846028356B8CE938F3AE5AE85E5686798A72849DB0D0A4801048A2

EDIT: HEIC crash is fixed for me in 1.5.2 :)

So to summarize:
- 1.4.5 is fine
- since 1.5.0 every HQ scaler is broken for downscaling except Bilinear.

Can you reproduce it?

I removed settings files in Roaming and used default settings.
Same issue.
Do you think newest Nvidia driver could also be a culprit?
