Search in Categories filter panel

In the Categories panel, one can search among categories, to locate a category, within the categories tree. This is a very good and useful feature
...and one that is very much missed, in the Categories filter panel. It is often very annoying and cumbersome, to locate categories, to filter, in the Categories filter panel.
An ability to do the same kind of search as in the Categories panel, in the Categories filter panel, would be a great improvement!
