cbz/cbr etc not supported, despite XnView being able to handle them

As has been mentioned several times before, on this forum:
Why is there no support for the, so-called, comic book archive format?
This isn't an actual format, as it is really only regular archives (exclusively containing images), that are renamed.
Nothing more, nothing less.
So cbz-files, are zip files full of images, cbr is the same using RAR, cb7=7zip, cba=ACE, cbt=TAR.

All that is needed, for XnView to support the "formats", is for it to interpret cbz as zip (which is what they are), cbr as rar etc.
So all that is needed, is adding a few words. Making a minor change, to five lines of code, presumably, taking about... a few minutes, at most?
And, as I've said: It has been suggested/requested, several times.

I added cbz and cbr to settings - file list - custom filter - archives - extensions and it took me 10 seconds.

...and that works? That makes XnView treat them, as the proper archive formats?
Also: If it takes even less than a few minutes, but instead just a few seconds, that makes it even more baffling, that XnView doesn't natively support it, by default.

Perhaps because these archives have not enough popularity to add them by default.
But this possibility is presented as an option. This is the normal approach for developers.

...
Not popular enough?
You can't be serious?

No it isn't.
Nowhere, in XnView, is there any hint of it being an option.
Anywhere.

Almost no viewers support these formats. If you can enable format support in the options, then ... this is an option.
What you may have meant is that you haven't figured out the program settings. Well, what can I do? I figured it out.

Yes they do.

You can't, and it isn't.
There is no option, in the settings, to enable support for them.
There is a place where, IF you think of it, you can TRY to add support for it ...unless you conclude that it obviously wouldn't work, because XnView wouldn't know how to open it, as it obviously wouldn't know that "cbz" is supposed to be treated as zip, rather than it being some unknown format. (and have you tried it, to know that it would work?)
What you may have meant is that you haven't figured out the program settings. Well, what can I do? I figured it out.
Most people wouldn't even look, to try to figure it out.
Most who look at the settings, would simply conclude that there is no support for cbX-formats, and no option to enable support.
...and of those that do think of the list you mentioned, many will conclude, as I did, the conclusion that I mentioned above.

No it isn't.
Unless upgrades don't update the list?

Speaking of which:
Why is mp2 listed as an audio format?
And why are mpa and m4a, listed as video formats?
...and the further mpeg audio extensions, .m1a, .m2a, and .mpa, not listed at all?

What is the list of formats, by default, in xnview.ini, in the newest version?
(I.e., I'm requesting a copy-paste, from the [Format]-section of the default xnview.ini)

...and I can point out, that while I, due to what has been said in this thread, removed the audio format 'm4a' from the list of video formats, and put it in the list of audio formats instead, it remains listed among the video formats. The addition of it, among audio formats, remains ...but however often I remove it, from the list of video formats, doesn't matter:
Whenever I go back and look, it has reappeared among the video formats! :bug:

Edit: ...and, again: Please copy-paste the "[Formats]"-bit, from the current default 'xnview.ini'.
