When opening the Viewer from Windows Explorer, files in non-image formats are added as images to the sequence.

To reproduce:
1. Setting up to open files in Viewer [Menu: Tools > Settings > General > Mode when starting with a file: Viewer]
2. In Windows Explorer, open an image file from a directory containing images and other files, using XnView MP as the opening method
3. The problem occurs at this point. When navigating to the previous/next image, you can see that non-image files are trying to be opened as image files.

Actual behaviour (bug): When opening the Viewer from Windows Explorer, files in non-image formats are added as images to the sequence.

Expected behaviour: Only image files are added to the sequence in the Viewer.

could you post a screenshot of 'Settings>Browser>Custom filter?'

which files do you have in the folder?

+1 have the same issue

files in folder:
1 png
2 docx
3 xlsx
4 png

open 1 png and scroll down to see issue
however, once you scroll to the end and start scrolling back - sequence will only hve 2 images, but statusbar will still show x/4 files

Thanks to your detailed description I can reproduce the problem.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.5.4. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
