Resize filters don't work (Linux)

Xnview 1.68.1 on Linux:
For the windows version, resize filters other than linear and impulse work fine.
For the linux version, unless one selects "nearest neighbor", one always gets a linear
filter, no matter what filter one selects. This is in Image->Resize...
