When you open a multi-megapixel image, and open the properties item, the megapixels are displayed in scientific format, not human-readable.

For example 116mp image = "1.2e+02 Mpixels"

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.5.4. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
