Batch Convert - sort preset list

so far the preset list is not sorted in an expected way like alphabetically. It seems newest are on the top. Easier to find/select presets when sorted alphabetically especially when having many presets.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in
XnView MP 1.6.0. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

Problem is back in 1.6.2
It would also be great if last preset is still selected when function is opened again.

indeed. problem is back although it was fixed in 1.6.0

sorry but i don't understand. the problem was sorting. But if "preset list is not sorted alphabetically".. ??

nope, no autosort in presets list in 162

preset list is only sorted when you open the dialog, but I think it should be also auto-sorted once you add new preset

Hi Pierre,
on XnView MP 1.9.2 and XnConvert 1.105 on MacOS 14.7.5, the problem still exists.
My Presets are alphabetically ordered, so that I can quickly select them.

But once I use one of these presets, it ends up on top of the list, and after a while this list is a mess.

This is unfortunately really slowing down work
Any fixes planned for this?

Oh and another UI issue for the preset list:
Would it be possible to hide the file extension (.xbs) in the list?
I've tried to hide and remove in my MacOS Finder, but it doesn't carry over into XN.
It's distracting and makes the list more messy than necessary.

Presets list is only sorted when opening dialog, so you would like to keep always the sorting?
