It seems that the link to download version 4.1.9 is not updated, the version shown is version 4.1.8

I think the actual version is 4.1.9 - this is shown in Control Panel -> Programs and Features. Also, if you right click on the install program and/or XnViewShellExt.dll file and select Properties -> Details 4.1.9 is displayed.

It appears the Options -> About was not updated to display 4.1.9?

But I believe that where it should appear is in the section that was created to be shown, in the options > About....



It is where first you look, and not in looking for the installation files to check the real version, I do not say that it cannot be done, it is something that I did not know, for that reason I asked.

Oh, I agree with you 100%! This should be fixed. It is confusing to say the least.

I just did some further checking after I discovered the About showed v4.1.8.

Yes, I agree. It would be much clearer if the version in the 'About' section was updated to show the correct version number. It's definitely confusing when the version shown there doesn't match the actual one.

Absolutely, A checklist for new releases would be super helpful to avoid these small mistakes and keep everything clear.
