Picture opened in full screen has not "focus"

Hi,
since version 1.5.5 and 1.6.0 too, when I open a picture from a folder, it opens correctly but it has no "focus", i.e. if I want to close it, I have to first click on the picture and then press ESC.
If I don't click on it, it's like Windows doesn't have XNView MP in foreground.

i can't reproduce, what do you have in Settings>General>Startup?

I updated to v. 1.6.1 but still I have the issue.
I attached a screenshot of what I have in the Startup section of Settings.

Arrows work only after I clicked on the image to put it foreground (like the Esc key).

i've tried, and i'm not able to reproduce. I open a picture file with XnView from windows explorer, and use ESC, app quits...
you can reproduce each time?

strange, i 've tried on Win11, and no problem with your settings. You use windows explorer?
