Hi, I am new in this forum and hope I can make myself understandable and might find help. Since the update to 1.6.1 I have problems in filling in keywords or categories. I can fill out the page but by sending it, it freezes in. I get the answer " no response" after closing the program and restart sometimes part of the pictures stored the input but never all of them.

This is a bit anoying, so I am wondering, if someboy knows a solution?

due to a journey without access to my labtop I can answer today. While the error was still occuring last week, today it looks like the visit at the dentist, when the tooth does not hurt anymore. I tried to reproduce the error for sending screenshots and.. the error did not show up.
I am sure I did same steps as at the beginning, but anyway your "magic touch" obviously helped

it´s me again. As I was working on new pictures I noticed, that I used old pictures for the try of reproducing. The error still shows up with new files and pictures but difficult to reproduce as it happens like a "loose contact" on a cable which means you probably cannot really help. If you want more details nevertheless , just let me know.

I tried to reproduce and made a screenshot which I attach. As I said it does not happen with all pictures. In general I notice that single picture editing seems to be no problem. Editing staples causes problems.

In my example I wantd to delete the keyword "test" after selecting the pictures I deleted the keyword test in "ITPC bearbeiten" and chose "schreiben in allen Dateien" the window which shows the process poped up and the program frozed in. I coud not close any window nor stopp XNview in taskline. I had to use taskmanager to close and after opening XN again test was not deleted in any of the chosen pictures.

If neccessary to know, I am using Windows 10.

I just downloaded the version 1.6.2 and it seems the poblem is solved. I could fill in keywords as well as categories. let´s hope it stays like this and thanks for your support and the team which worked on the new version.
