Batch rename not working

Batch rename is not working anymore. XnView version 1.6.1, Windows 11

I checked again and realized that the window for changing the batch rename options is actually opened but in an anomalous position: it is on the right side outside the view of the monitor (see attachment).
After moving the window into the correct position, I closed it. Then I opened it again and it appeared in the same anomalous position as before.

you need to apply to save current position. Else you can remove in xnview.ini, geometry for [rename]

I didn't get it how to apply to save current position. Anyway as you suggested, I deleted the geometry entry for the [rename] block inside xnview.ini and it worked perfectly. It would be a nice addiction in the Options the ability to reset all the windows geometry.

window position will be saved once you press OK button

doubt dedicated button is required for such specific functionality, it would be better to have position check on window open, eg:
- if window is not fully visible - move it to the center of the screen
