Panasonic G9ii RAWs Display as "static"

Hi,
Just got my new Panasonic G9ii.

In XnView they display OK as thumbnails, but as a random "static" pattern when selected.

In XnViewMP they display as static in both cases.

I can supply a sample, but the .RW2 extension is blocked. What should I change it to?

Thanks

Andrew

You could place the file in a ZIP if it is within the present forum attachment size limit of 2MiB, otherwise you will need to either provide a download link, or if necessary send it as an email attachment to the xnview.com contact address on the home page with a suitable subject line.

OK, it's a 25MP RAW, so about 35MB compressed.
I'll upload and provide a link

Hi,
I've uploaded two test files:
https://www.andrewj.com/public/231107_G9ii_1000144.RW2 is a standard RAW file
https://www.andrewj.com/public/231109_G9ii_1000173.RW2 is a larger "High Resolution" file

Thanks
Andrew

right if you use fullsize for 'settings>View>camera raw', there is an error "unknown file: data corrupted".
If 'embedded' is used, embedded jpeg can be extracted...

Thanks, so the work-around is to set the RAW display to "Embedded". That works in both versions.
Will you at some stage add support for the new file format?
