Dear Pierre, dear users,

For me, it seems the catalog filter in version 1.6.3 64-bit (Windows) - Libformat 7.167 is not working properly.
I am trying to search for uncategorized items in a specific folder (with/without subfolder(s))
Obviously the "Match" setting is not respected (any more).
No matter if I choose "current folder" or "current folder (recursive)", the search always starts in "global" mode and tries to search the complete catalog/database, no matter which folder I choose in the folder pane.

The problem seemingly does not occur in e.g. the portableapps version 1.6.1 64-bit (Windows) - Libformat 7.165, which I am using for "cross-checking purposes"

Can anyone do me a favor and check / confirm, please?

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.6.4. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

Dear Pierre, sorry for keeping you waiting with an answer or test.

For me, the issue is still not fixed. I cannot search for items "without category" in a specific folder.
The search still runs globally. The bug is still present, from my point of view.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.6.5. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

- 'Uncategorised' - fixed
- 'All' - shall be fixed as well
