Update Thumbnails

XnViewMP keeps shows old images I deleted as thumbnails for my folders. How do I get rid of them, and replace them with my current images?

on windows? do you delete them in XnView?

No, I used File Explorer to delete them.

so catalog was not updated. You can select the files and 'update catalog from files'

How do I automatically update the catalog every time a delete a file in File Explorer?

it's not possible if XnView is not started, you need to use XnView or update the catalog

I selected the files, now where's the "update catalog from files" option?

But I think you were talking about 1 or 4 thumbnails used to illustrate the folders ;
so you should select the folder on the right side of the browser and use "Rebuild Thumbnails" , also located in View menu...
