Folder pane not synced with file browser

Somehow I have changed something and the tree in the folder pane no longer shows the current folder shown in the browser. It always shows the top level, collapsed, so if I am trying to manage files between a folder and subfolders, I have to navigate from the top to get to the current folder. I can't see how to reconnect them so the folder pane shows the current folder expanded as default. Any idea what I did?

you means that changing path in thumbnail view, don't change current folder in folder tree?

I've been having the same problem for several months now (not sure just how long, or if it coincides with an update or not). I started using Classic, then switched to MP when it came out, and for most of that time when I changed the path in the thumbnail view, the current folder in the folder tree also changed. That no longer happens.

I can get around this to an extent by adding folders to the browser favorites; clicking on one of those will move in the browser tree--IF the favorite is on my hard drive in some fashion, either as a OneDrive folder, a SharePoint folder synced with my OneDrive, or a shortcut in Network Locations. But it doesn't work for folders that are on a NAS. It lets me define a favorite, and the favorite will take me to that folder, but when I go back to the tree the folder hasn't changed there.

My NAS has a lot of folders with many layers of subfolders, and I don't want to have to define a ton of network locations in Windows Explorer just to get this app to work consistently.

Is there any reason we don't have this convenience any more, other than that something unintended happened and you just haven't had time to address it?

for Network drive, you can use

Code: Select all

expandUNC=true
